Case Study

ac3 provides comprehesive hosting facilities for a wide range of government and commercial clients. The data centres provides a highly reliable and secure environment for hosting mission critical systems. ac3's primary data centre is located at the Australian Technology Park at Eveleigh, on the fringe of the Sydney CBD. The second data centre is located in the Global Switch complex at Darling Harbour. ac3 was founded in 2000 with seed funding from the NSW State Government and 8 NSW-based Universities – Sydney, New South Wales, UTS, Macquarie, Wollongong, Newcastle, Charles Sturt, and Western Sydney. The NSW State Government has 57% equity, with the 8 Universities collectively holding the remainder.

Site administration control

ac3 have deployed Onsite Track Easy to provide overall administration management and audited site access control to the facilities. This enables ac3 to continuously track all  people/companies on site and maintain strict entry/exit protocols and personnel/equipment movements. ac3 is accredited to the AS/NZS 7799 global Information Security standard.
