ARTC Partners to deliver Rail Safety Worker program.
The system has been introduced by Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) to improve the control and processes for monitoring competencies and identification for Rail Safety Workers (RSW).
RSW records, skills sets and competencies are managed by Onsite Track Easy (Onsite), a division of Pegasus. The production and distribution of unique competency identification cards linked to RSW records are also channelled through Onsite.
Onsite is best-of-breed, web-based software that - via strategically located logpoints and a world class data storage function - uses a universal photo identity (ID) to provide an accurate and transparent record of all safety and competency related information, allowing a clear and accurate view of any exposure to risk.
On the strength of a 100 point ID check, the Rail Safety Worker Program verifies competence and identification of each applicant. As Onsite reports in real time all records can be accessed 365 days a year.
