Alcolizer Interface
Released 24/04/2008

Onsite Track Easy Logpoints interfaced directly to alcohol breath test units are now operational in the Hunter Valley coal industry.

During site access login the logpoint prompts for the cardholder or visitor to take the breath test, and login does not proceed until a result is achieved. The Australian-made breath testers send the Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) reading to the logpoint which resumes the login if the result is within the site's BAC limit, or refuses site access if the reading exceeds the limit.

An optional feature can be activated to email or SMS a site representative whenever the limit is exceeded.

The alcolizer interface can be enabled or disabled individually for cardholder or visitors at any logpoint, and results are logged for reporting to authorised users. The Alcolizers can be used for self-administered breath tests at any time without disrupting the logpoint operation.

This new integrated functionality enhances Onsite's reputation as a leading safety management tool and further demonstrates its ability to interface with other systems to provide a comprehensive site safety solution.
